The Team Bath AS swimming squads are based at Dragonfly Leisure. They were delighted to celebrate their first anniversary. The celebration consisted of hosting a Race Night for their dedicated swimmers. The club is based at the University of Bath. It partnered with Dragonfly Leisure last September. Together, they set up four new squads in Midsomer Norton.

This year has been incredible for the club. They won the Midsomer Norton Town Council Civic Award. It was for Community Youth Group of the Year 2025. They made a real difference in the local community. They promote sports, physical activity, and well-being, and they witness firsthand the enjoyment of their young swimmers.
At the event, the Mayor of Midsomer Norton, Martyn Plant, had the opportunity to watch the swimmers in action. He also spoke to the parents, volunteers, and coaching team.
Team Bath AS would like to thank Nicky Vause from Midsomer Norton Swimming Club. She shared her expertise with our volunteers. She allowed the swimmers to experience racing conditions.
Karen Bowen is the President of Somerset ASA and Administrator of the Pathway Programme for Team Bath AS. She was able to see the progress of the swimmers. Karen thanked volunteers alongside the Head of Swimming at Team Bath AS, Liam Willcox. Chair Tim Babbage and Lead Coach for the Midsomer Norton squads were also present.
Team Bath AS is sincerely grateful to Nicky Vause. She is from Midsomer Norton Swimming Club and has generously shared her expertise with our volunteers. This invaluable opportunity has provided the swimmers with a valuable introductory experience of racing conditions.
The club is seeking passionate young swimmers aged 7 and above who can swim 25 metres. They should have achieved the Learn to Swim stage 7 or the equivalent standard. The club invites them to join and discover their swimming potential.
