Ingredients
1 Ripe Banana
100g Oats
2 Tablespoons Honey
1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil (or similar) or butter
50g Chocolate Chips
Pinch Salt
Plain flour for dusting your hands
You will need: large bowl, wooden spoon, baking tray, baking parchment.
Method
- Pre heat the oven to 180C/160 Fan/Gas 4
- Line a baking sheet with baking parchment
- In a large bowl, mash the banana until smooth
- Mix in the oats, honey and oil
- Leave the mixture for 20 minutes for the oats to soften
- Add the salt and chocolate chips
- Lightly dust your hands in plain flour, then roll the mixture into balls
- Put the balls on the prepared sheet about 3 cms apart and gently press to form discs of about 1 cm thick
- Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden
- Transfer to a rack until cooled
