Somerset ASA (SASA) is committed to supporting Coach Development throughout the county and as such is offering a new opportunity for 7 Young Volunteers to further their career and personal development.
In partnership with the Institute of Swimming (IOS), we will be running a Swim England Level 1 Assistant Coach training course, which will be integrated within the County Development Pathway (CDP), held at Millfield senior school pool.

Candidates will complete their IOS qualification with a blended learning model of e-learning, webinars and practical sessions and will then be mentored poolside whilst assisting with the delivery of 4 sessions of the CDP programme, thus further embedding their learning and skills. Successful candidates can then apply for a paid position in the final term of the CDP.
